HOT: 5 6th grade girls missing in river, 2 bodies found

On the morning of April 5, Thanh Hoa Fire and Rescue Police Department confirmed with Zing, This unit cooperated with the authorities, local people found 2 bodies victim in the case of 5 schoolgirls missing while bathing in the river.

Authorities have now found 2 bodies and brought them ashore and continue to search for the remaining 3 victims

According to initial information, on the afternoon of April 4, 5 girls studying in grade 6 at Thieu Duy Secondary School, Thieu Hoa district, invited each other to Moc Khe river (bordering 2 communes Thieu Hop and Thieu Duy) to cool off. While bathing, all 5 female students drowned and went missing.

The Fire and Rescue Police Department dispatched 2 vehicles, a boat and 15 officers and soldiers to the scene.

At 0:45 on April 5, two bodies of female students MTH and LPN (both 12 years old) were found.

According to Young Intellectuals, The identities of the two victims were found to be Mai Thanh H. and Le Phuong N. born in 2010, residing in Thieu Duy commune, Thieu Hoa district.

Three victims are missing, including: Le Thi Bich Ph. (SN 2010, Xu Nhan 2 village, Thieu Duy commune, Thieu Hoa district); Le Thi Thai Th. (SN 2010, residing in Xu Nhan 2 village, Thieu Duy commune, Thieu Hoa district); Le Bao Trang (born in 2010, hometown: Xu Nhan 2 village, Thieu Duy commune, Thieu Hoa district).

Currently, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department and the Central High Commission have increased officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate with local authorities and people to carry out the search.

The rescue force is also deploying divers, diving to search, and use detection cameras to quickly find the location of the victims.
