On the afternoon of April 5, Ninh Binh Provincial Police are investigating and clarifying the cause of the traffic accident that killed the former Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee and his wife.
The police said that at about 1pm on April 5, Ninh Binh City Police received a report about a serious traffic accident on Tran Nhan Tong Street, Ninh Son Ward, Ninh Binh City, Ninh Binh Province. .
The police rushed to the scene to organize traffic flow, give first aid to the victims, and at the same time verify the incident.
According to initial information, this afternoon, Mr. Pham Minh Tuyen (SN 1949, resident of Bac Son ward, Tam Diep city; former Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee) drove a Vinfast brand car, control plate 35A – 236.48 carried. His wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nhan (SN 1950), was walking on Tran Nhan Tong Street in the direction from Hanoi to Thanh Hoa when she suddenly collided with the hard divider between the road and the street light pole between the median, causing the car to fly to the side of the road. opposite direction.
The collision caused Ms. Nhan to be thrown out of the car into the opposite lane and died on the spot. Mr. Tuyen was also thrown into the lane in the same direction and was seriously injured, had to go to the emergency room at Ninh Binh Provincial General Hospital but did not survive. Mr. Tuyen died at 15:10 on the same day.
The case is currently under further investigation.
