After being informed about this by the University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel identified this as one of the priority tasks in citizen protection, urgently contact , working closely with local authorities, search and rescue units, and local Vietnamese communities to search for citizens.

The Embassy also exchanges and keeps in regular contact with the AICAT Center; actively request information and support the authorities in the search process.

Recently, shortly after being informed by the Office of the International Police Agency (Interpol) in Israel, a body was found with identification papers in the desert area of ​​Naot Hakikar (Arava) and identified as belonging to a citizen. As mentioned above, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel and the local police to coordinate in handling and implementing citizen protection work.

According to the Embassy, ​​the forensic work is currently being completed and the Israeli side has confirmed that it will closely coordinate with the Vietnamese side in solving the post-mortem issue. The Embassy has also informed the Vietnamese authorities and the University of Agriculture and Forestry in Ho Chi Minh City about this.

Following the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel will continue to closely monitor the case, actively work with local authorities and the AICAT Center to soon have an official conclusion on the case. ; closely coordinate with domestic authorities to arrange post-mortem according to the wishes of the family and take necessary measures to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese citizens.
