Mai’s real age turns out to be older than Goku, Vegeta’s son is a real “pilot”

Mai’s age is first mentioned in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. The Pilaf Gang used the dragon balls to restore their youth, but they were turned into children. This event took place in 778, about four years after the Buu Saga (774 years old), Mai’s birth year was identified as 737.

In this chapter, Pilaf Gang expresses his desire to be younger around the time Trunks was a child. They themselves were transformed into babies by a wish with the dragon ball. Trunks looked like an 8-year-old boy since 774. However, at the time of the tournament of power (AD 780), Trunks had to be at least 14 years old. In Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero it seems that both Trunks and Mai will look older.
