New generation Lexus NX 2022 priced from 3.01 billion VND

April 5, Lexus Vietnam launched the second generation NX, imported from Japan. The small SUV model has an additional hybrid engine option, the NX 350h version. While the regular version NX 300 previous generation replaced by the 350 F Sport with a sporty appearance.

NX is an abbreviation for the phrase Nimble Crossover, which means a agile high-rise vehicle. The small SUV is newly designed by the company and launched in June 2021. The overall shape of the NX still follows the L-Finesse philosophy with cut lines, cubes from front to back.

The smart, adaptive LED headlight section has a new design. Position lights are located in the same position as the headlights instead of separate like the previous generation. NX or Lexus models in general give two design images: moderately dynamic when viewed from the side but angular, rebellious when viewed from the front or from the rear.

The rear of the NX is the part that has changed the most when it is more square and the new LED rear light strip is crossed. Both the F Sport and 350h versions have the choice of 20-inch wheels with run-flat tires. Particularly, the F Sport version is equipped with adaptive suspension and details in the grille, front / rear bumpers are more angular.

The Lexus NX 350 cockpit changes compared to the old generation when the details are rearranged in a streamlined direction and towards the driver. Standard equipment in the interior includes a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, gearshift paddles, a HUD display on the windshield, a sunroof, and dual-zone climate control. Besides, there is a navigation system with Vietnam map, wireless charging. Particularly, the 350h version has 64 color interior lights.

The seats on the new NX are covered with leather, 10-way power adjustment for the F Sport version (12 directions for the 350h version), 3-position memory, heating and cooling. 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat. An 8-speaker sound system on the F Sport version, while the more advanced, 17-speaker Mark Levinson is available on the 350h.

The engine of the NX 350 is 2.4 liter turbocharged, 275 horsepower capacity, 430 Nm torque, 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive. The selling price of this version is 3.01 billion VND.

The 350h version is equipped with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, for a capacity of 188 horsepower, maximum torque of 239 Nm. This engine combined with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle, for a total capacity of 240 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque. The gearbox comes with a CVT type and all-wheel drive. NX 350h price 3.3 billion.

Both versions of the new Lexus NX come with the LSS + safety technology package with new equipment such as: pre-collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist recognition, active cruise control, and scene control. Lane departure warning, lane tracking assist. In addition, there is a system of automatic adaptive headlights, safe braking when parking.

Lexus NX competes in the small SUV segment, where there are competitors such as Mercedes GLC price 1.8-3.09 billion dong, BMW X3 the price of 2.3-2.96 billion VND, Volvo XC60 priced at VND 2,2-2.75 billion… With a price of VND 3.01-3.3 billion, the Lexus NX is the most expensive in the segment, even touching the price of the senior Lexus RX.
