Only Hanoi has not yet allowed preschool children to go back to school

This afternoon, Hanoi also announced that students will return to school from April 6. Thus, 97% of students will go to school directly.” – Mr. Son said.

As for preschool, Deputy Minister of Education and Training said that currently, there are 62/63 localities for children to go to school, except Hanoi, which has not yet allowed it. In general, up to now, localities have taken measures to send their children to school, even though the epidemic situation is different in each place.

“Currently, only Hanoi does not have a specific plan for preschool children to go to school, so Hanoi’s leaders have to decide this,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Education and Training.

On the same day, the Hanoi People’s Committee agreed with the report of the Department of Education and Training on allowing students from grades 1 to 6 to go back to school directly from April 6. Kindergarten students stay at home.

The implementation principle is on a voluntary basis, with the consent of the student’s parents. Schools teach according to the school’s plan and organize day-boarding activities, teaching 2 sessions/day.

Schools must meet safety requirements in the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic. In the process of organizing face-to-face teaching, if there are cases related to epidemiology, which do not ensure safety for epidemic prevention and control, the school will proactively handle according to instructions.
