“Please put your pants on and go home”!

On the evening of April 4, a female Malaysian tourist posted two photos posing to reveal her third round in an Ao Dai-like outfit while dropping flower lights in Hoi An. Immediately the incident was strongly condemned, many netizens have come to her Facebook page for comments right below the post.

Two photos of her posing sensitively, wearing revealing clothes were judged to be inappropriate for the fine customs and traditions of a historical place like Hoi An.

Although angry, many Vietnamese netizens still maintain a calm attitude, analyze and share with comments in English under the post of the female tourist above. Besides, some people commented with sarcasm, or harshly asked her to leave Vietnam.

Currently, before the attack by comments as well as reports of many Vietnamese and international netizens, the female tourist above has not had any specific feedback, nor has she taken any action to avoid it.

It is known that Mr. Tong Quoc Hung – Head of the Culture and Information Office of Hoi An City, Quang Nam province confirmed that, in the morning of April 5, the city’s authorities were looking for the trace of a girl dressed in offensive clothing. Hoi An.
