The automaker Hyundai is said to be working on the next generation of the Hyundai SantaFe (codenamed MX5 5th generation). This will surprise many people when SantaFe has already received an update at the end of 2021 with a more aggressive XRT version.

However, the launch of the next generation earlier than usual of SantaFe with new upgrades will help this SUV model clarify the boundary with the recently launched “junior” model Tucson.

According to sources from Korean media, the new Hyundai SantaFe will receive exterior tweaks and new engine options, including a plug-in hybrid powertrain, similar to the new Tucson, including HTRAC all-wheel drive system is available.

The car is in the development phase and will be launched soon, 8-10 months before the original planned time.

Currently, there is not much information regarding the detailed specifications of the new generation SantaFe, but internal sources say that the car will be increased in size.

In addition, the next generation SantaFe will be the first model to be introduced with the new Hyundai logo that has the ability to light up.
