To get a loan, they need to meet the following conditions: being poor, near-poor or having an average standard of living, facing difficulties because of Covid-19; do not have a computer or device that is not eligible for e-learning; not yet enjoy the policy of supporting online learning devices.
Maximum loan amount is 10 million VND, three million higher than offer in early October 2021, used to buy computers, tablets and other devices such as webcams, microphones. Maximum loan term 36 months, interest rate 1.2% per year. Interest on overdue debt is equal to interest on loans to poor households at the time of borrowing.
The representative of the student’s family will be the person in charge of the loan and transaction with the Bank for Social Policies. If the family is full 18 years old or the family has no representative, the remaining members are no longer able to work, students can directly borrow loans in their name.
