The lion Tom became famous after its impressive images taken by photographer Robert Grim inside the zoo in the Czech Republic caused a storm on the internet.

The stunning images of lions were captured by amateur photographer Robert Grim, 51, from Prague during a trip to the zoo.
The photographer shared the image on social networks and quickly attracted the attention of netizens. The extremely beautiful photo of the lion makes many people think of the moment when it is like walking on the white snow catwalk, its majestic mane fluttering in the wind.
Robert Grim said the healthy lion was the result of a rescue from squalid, illegal captivity. Now, it can freely roam inside the zoo, enjoying the natural scenery.

Robert Grim said: “The lion’s name is Tom, it looks like it just came out of a high-class hair salon. Tom and Leo are two lions rescued from a bad, illegal captivity. Now it is enjoying life in a large space. These two lions will celebrate their 6th birthday in May 2022.”
The pair of lions often appear on the zoo’s social media channels. In 2020, on World Lion Day on August 10, Na Hrádečku Zoo “treats” Tom and Leo with toys with a little meat inside to surprise.
Na Hrádečku Zoo is about 10 hectares wide, home to more than 80 species of animals. Tourists will be able to see lions, lemurs, camels, llamas, ostriches, pandas and other animals living in the open environment as close to nature as possible.
Zoo representative Na Hrádečku said they are involved in conservation projects and cooperate with zoos across Europe. “We participate in conservation projects. We try to propagate and educate the community about nature conservation issues through guided tours,” said zoo representative Na Hrádečku. .
