On April 5, the Go Vap District Police, Ho Chi Minh City, made a file and took the testimony of a man named Tuan (about 50 years old, temporarily residing in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City) to investigate the act of “murder”. Tuan is a suspect in stabbing death of NTH (21 years old), self-defense militia of Ward 14, Go Vap district.

Before that, around 4:30 pm on April 4, Mr. H. was on duty to separate traffic in front of the gate of Pham Van Chieu Secondary School, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City. At this time, it was raining and the students were out of school, so the traffic was heavy.

While Mr. H. was regulating traffic, Mr. Tuan was driving in the opposite direction, so Mr. H. asked this person to stay in the right lane to avoid traffic jams. However, Mr. Tuan did not comply, so the two sides had a conflict.

While arguing, Mr. Tuan pulled out a knife and stabbed him many times, causing Mr. H. to collapse on the spot. Despite being taken to the hospital, the victim did not survive. The suspect, after committing the crime, left the motorcycle on a treadmill and fled the scene.

Receiving the news, Go Vap District Police coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department and related units to examine the scene, investigate and trace.

Through collecting evidence and security camera images in the area, the authorities determined that the suspect was temporarily residing in District 12, so they arrested him. At dawn on April 5, this person went to the Go Vap District Police to confess and admit the crime.
