After almost 2 months of giving birth, how is your health now?
Currently, my health is recovering well, I started doing light exercises such as walking and doing yoga and meditation. In the first month, I just lay in bed, unable to walk or stand. Maybe it was a cesarean section so recovery took longer than vaginal delivery.
How do you feel that your life has changed since having children?
My life has changed completely since having children, starting from health, appearance and everything related to art must be changed or even destroyed. My life currently revolves around you from morning to night. But in return for her boundless happiness is the appearance of the little angel Suka. Seeing your child every day, all troubles and troubles will disappear. (Laugh)
Can you share a little about the newborn?
The baby is very submissive and intelligent, not fussy and only cries for a reason, not without reason. Babies like me mouth and hands and feet. His eyes are like his father’s, and his nose is unknown. (Laugh)
I am a single mother, me and my three children are still friends now and we both support each other to raise our children.
How was your first pregnancy experience and feeling?
When I first heard that my baby was coming, I was very confused and worried because I was not mentally prepared to be a mother. And when pregnant Love it, everything is like travel, maternity care is very difficult because at that time the COVID-19 epidemic in Vietnam was worrying. Her pregnancy was also not smooth. I suffered from morning sickness, which is indigestion and morning sickness for 9 months in a row. I was so early that I couldn’t eat anything but had to try to eat, because I couldn’t eat much, so at that time I had to eat oats and drink milk without sugar, take vitamins to support. Not only that, in week 33, I also contracted COVID-19.
Now looking back on everything I’ve been through, I feel so lucky and happy to have you in my life. Being a mother is the best thing I’ve ever known, I’m so happy, I can’t express this joy in words. I think every mother understands this feeling of mine. (Laugh)
Last year, Diem Tran returned to Vietnam to visit family, avoid the COVID-19 outbreak and give birth in Vietnam.
Since finding out she was pregnant, she withdrew from all artistic activities to prepare for motherhood.
In what week did you give birth to your baby?
I gave birth at 39 weeks. I am a single mother, but luckily beside me I have a family, my parents and sister take good care of me. I have no regrets at all. Being a single mother is my choice so I don’t have to be sad, having a baby is already my limitless luck, so I don’t think about anything else.
What is your first impression when your baby is born?
My first impression when the baby was born was that he cried very loudly, the loudest in the hospital delivery room and he was very hungry. (Laugh)

How was your mental preparation when you decided to become a single mother and did you have a lot of doubts when making this decision?
I just want to say it’s all about grace, Love to come to me is a charm, I happily accept the gift God gave me. I’m just worried about the best way to care for the baby.
How will your family react to your decision? Did you have a lot of economic stress during pregnancy, childbirth and now?
When I announced that I had a baby, my family was very happy and there was no pressure at all. During pregnancy, the family took good care of her from mental to physical. Regarding the economy, I am not depressed because I have a lot of money because if my economy is not there, how can I choose to be a single mother.
How long do you plan on getting back into shape and getting back into the arts?
I’m planning about 6 months after delivery or maybe sooner. I want to stay at home with my children a little longer. But everything can’t be said in advance, it depends on the baby, but I will try my best to be able to return to art. I hope everyone can accept and like the art products that I bring. (Laugh)
