Vina Samex becomes the winner of the Community Entrepreneur Award season 4
With the Blue Venture Award winner, Vina Samex (Vietnam Cinnamon Anise Production and Export Joint Stock Company) received VND 100 million in cash, the Blue Venture Award champion trophy as well as the support from the sponsor TV Hub co. co-branded with Chivas, Pernod Ricard Vietnam Co., Ltd.

With 10 years of experience in producing cinnamon and star anise, Vina Samex is proud to have affirmed the value and quality of Vietnam’s cinnamon and anise in the international market, and at the same time helps upland farmers have more income.
The company also has projects to promote gender equality in the northern mountainous provinces, create 300 jobs for local people, train farmers in organic standards or sort waste in factories… Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen – representative of Vina Samex said that the company is also trying to reduce the impact of climate change, developing sustainable raw material areas according to organic standards. This startup is also at the forefront of a business model that creates social impact, pioneering afforestation combined with a sustainable economy.
Being assessed as having equal resilience, Sokfarm (Tra Vinh Farm Co., Ltd.) and Vacetco (Viet Anh Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd.) received the final second prize. If Vacetco provides wastewater treatment equipment, water supply, gas treatment according to modern processes, integrated compact modules, with closed and automatic technology; Sokfarm develops natural products such as coconut nectar, contributing to improving the livelihoods of local people. Both businesses aim to find a common solution to the problem of green production and environmental protection.
Gifts for each runner-up include a Macbook Pro 2020, an online course on Entrepreneurship at Coursera worth VND 50 million and a gift from sponsor Pernod Ricard Vietnam. The total prize of the season 4 program is worth up to 400 million VND.
Blue Venture Award is an award to find, incubate, inspire, connect the startup community, balance corporate profits and community benefits. The award is co-organized by TV Hub Company and Pernod Ricard Vietnam Company.

The program focuses on innovative startups, connecting and balancing community values and business profits, thereby bringing benefits to businesses and communities. “With the campaign “Mix passion, mark success”, the program has the meaning of connecting the community, building a strong startup ecosystem”, said Mr. Ludovic Ledru.
According to the organizers, this is the most successful season of all seasons, with more than 100 entries, business ideas, and 20 entries to the final round. The final night had the appearance of a familiar and prestigious jury including Mr. Ludovic Ledru – Managing Director of Pernod Ricard in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand markets; Ms. Nguyen Phi Van – Author, global franchising expert – Chairman of Vietnam Angel Investment Network; Entrepreneur Le Dang Khoa – Director of Le Group Ventures and Ms. Pham Khanh Linh – Inspiring Entrepreneur, Founder of Logivan.
