FLC Board member is fined

April 6, State Securities Committee issued Decision No. 192/QD-XPHC on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of securities and securities market for Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung – Member of the Board of Directors of Joint Stock Company. FLC Group (address number 15, lane 158 Hoang Van Thai, Khuong Mai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi).

Ms. Huong Thi Kieu Dung was fined 70 million VND, based on the provisions at point a, clause 4, Article 15 of Decree No. 156/2020/ND-CP dated December 31, 2020 of the Government on sanctioning of administrative violations. in the field of securities and the securities market (apply the extenuating circumstance “The administrative violator has voluntarily remedied the consequences” specified in Clause 1, Article 9 of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations).

The decision states that Ms. Kieu Dung has committed violations: Member of the Board of Directors of a public company and a member of the Board of Directors in more than 5 other companies.

Specifically, from May 2020 to October 2021, Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung is a member of the Board of Directors of FLC Group Joint Stock Company and a member of the Board of Directors of 6 other companies. , violating the provisions of Clause 3, Article 12 of Decree No. 71/2017/ND-CP dated June 6, 2017 of the Government guiding corporate governance applicable to public companies and Clause 3, Article 275 of Decree No. Decree No. 155/2020/ND-CP dated December 31, 2020 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Securities.
