According to regulations, within 30 days from the date of issuance of the notice of payment of the above land use levy, the winning businesses of Thu Thiem land auction must pay the registration fee and 50% of the land use fee (phase 1). . Within 90 days from the date of this notice, the auction winners must pay the remaining 50% of the land use fee (phase 2).
Past the 90-day time limit, the tax authorities will apply a number of tax enforcement measures against Dream Republic JSC and Sheen Mega JSC. However, because the contract signed between these two companies and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has a period of 180 days, the tax authority will wait after this time, whether the enterprise will pay the land use fee or not and then decide.
On December 10, the Ho Chi Minh City Property Auction Center (under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice) said that it had completed 4 auctions of 4 land lots in functional area 3, Thu Thiem New Urban Area. , thereby collecting a total of 37,346 billion VND for the City budget. These land lots are represented by the Ho Chi Minh City Land Fund Development Center.
Specifically, Star Viet Real Estate Investment Limited Liability Company won the auction of land plots 3 -12 for 24,500 billion VND. This land lot has an area of 10,059,7m2, starting price of more than 2,942 billion VND. Binh Minh Commercial House Investment and Trading Limited Liability Company won the auction of plots 3-9 for 5,026 billion VND. This land lot has an area of 5,009.1 m2 with a starting price of more than 728 billion VND.
Along with that, Dream Republic Joint Stock Company won the auction of land lot 3-5 for 3,820 billion VND and Sheen Mega Joint Stock Company won the auction of plot 3-8 for 4,000 billion VND. In total, through the auction of 4 land lots, the budget has brought about VND 37,346 billion for Ho Chi Minh City.
