US, UK and Australia cooperate to develop hypersonic missile

In a joint statement, the leaders of the US, UK and Australia pledged to launch new trilateral cooperation on hypersonic weapons, counter-hypersonic weapons and electronic warfare capabilities.

The White House said US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison assessed the progress of cooperation under the agreement and confirmed their commitment to an “Indo-Pacific”. free and open”.

Responding to the move, China’s Ambassador to the United Nations Zhang Jun warned that the just-announced agreement could spark a crisis similar to the Ukraine conflict in other parts of the world. .
