The blink of an eye is a lifetime, it’s a pity if you don’t grasp these things

It is said that life is over in the blink of an eye. No matter how young you are, you will eventually have gray hair, no matter how high your morale, it will eventually fade away like autumn leaves. Facing time, everything turns to dust.

Life is a song of interwoven emotions, we all eventually grow old in the experience of “interlacing bitterness and joy” and changes in the world.

Life is a game of chess, you and I are both pawns in it. With any strategy, you only need to maintain one principle: no regrets. People sometimes don’t have to be very rich or become really great. Just do your job well, grasp everything, be diligent and simple, that’s enough.

However, what seems to be the simplest things is the more difficult it is to do. One way or another, human misfortunes, regrets, and loops reappear. After all, life is short, if you don’t grasp these things, you will eventually regret it.

1. Can’t catch it my chance

Someone has made the point that people only have a few opportunities in life, if they let go, they can go in a completely different direction. When the opportunity comes, we have the ability and preparation to promptly seize and make the leap of life. If not, it will be your own regret all these years later. However, in this world, there are very few people who are capable of seizing the opportunity.

In fact, for every opportunity in life, as long as we can try our best instead of choosing to withdraw, we have lived successfully and meaningfully. Life is getting more and more backward, if you don’t try, it’s too much of a waste.

Opportunity is a treasure that God has given us. If you get it, you are lucky. And if not, there is no such thing as suffering, just consider it fate. The important thing is not to give up and always look forward with confidence.

2. It’s a pity that I didn’t live for myself

In the novel “The Moon and Sixpence”, the main character is a middle-aged man with a happy family, stable job and high income. It can be said that his life is the envy and desire of countless people.

However, the main character is especially disgusted with such a life. He chose to give up everything and wander alone to a faraway place, pursuing his dream of painting when he was young.

Although during that journey, the main character did not have a prosperous life like before, even facing danger, but he was still very happy, even thinking that life like this is worth it.

In this regard, author Somerset Maugham wrote: “To follow a dream is to chase one’s own doom, and on a street full of sixpence he looks up and sees the moonlight.”

The road ahead is vast, good or bad luck is something no one can predict. So don’t think too much, just simply follow your life, work hard for what you’ve always dreamed of. Perhaps, if you have lived for yourself, even if you fail, you will not have much regrets.

3. I’m sorry I didn’t do my role well

A person’s life is usually divided into youth, middle age, and old age. In three different stages of life, we all have things to do.

Youth must be more enthusiastic, not afraid to pioneer, not afraid to fail. You know, a newborn calf is not afraid of tigers, just walk proudly, actively face change.

When one reaches middle age, one needs to be more cautious and not too naive. Lifestyle now needs to be mature, slow down and different from before. Walking slowly and cautiously, that is the attitude a middle-aged person should have.

When people reach old age, there is no need to think too much, see life with simple eyes, live freely and let everything go naturally. That is the best choice.

Be confident that we can all walk steadily through each stage of life. Each past has its own meaning and we will not have regrets when we look back.
