However, according to a new report from Digitimes, Taiwan-based component manufacturers are not cutting output. iPhone SE 3 and AirPods 3. More specifically, unnamed sources said they have not received any instructions on modifying the order volume.

Likely, analysts learned about Apple’s plans before they were implemented. The first reports of iPhone SE 3 production cuts were made in March 2022. Due to the complex and international nature of Apple’s supply chain, it is also possible that the reported cut is related to another manufacturer.
