Galaxy M53 5G launched with 108 “dots” camera, Dimensity 900 chip like OPPO Reno7
After the Galaxy M23 5G and M33 5G, Samsung has recently quietly announced the Galaxy M53 5G. This is an upgraded version of the Galaxy M33 5G, equipped with the same 108MP main camera as the Galaxy A73 5G. Previously, Galaxy A73 was Samsung’s first mid-range smartphone equipped with a 108MP camera.
The Galaxy M53 5G has a design that is basically the same as that of the Galaxy M33 5G, the machine has a shell finished from plastic with a square main camera cluster located in the left corner. This version comes with 3 color options: dark blue, turquoise and bronze brown.
As mentioned, the Galaxy M53 5G is equipped with a main camera system consisting of 4 lenses, including a 108MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2 2MP macro/depth cameras. Of course, being an M-series smartphone, the Galaxy M53 5G will cut down on the OIS stabilization system in the main camera, as well as reduce the resolution of the remaining lenses when compared to the Galaxy A73 5G.
On the front, the Galaxy M53 5G is again equipped with a 6.7-inch screen, using a Super AMOLED Plus panel with FHD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate similar to the Galaxy A73 5G. The screen uses the Infinity-O “mole” design with a 32MP selfie camera.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy M53 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, not a Snapdragon or Exynos. This chip also appeared on the newly launched OPPO Reno7 5G in Vietnam, giving decent performance. The device has only one memory option of 6GB / 128GB. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh, supporting 25W fast charging.
Currently, Galaxy M53 5G does not have an official price. In the near future, it is likely that Samsung will soon introduce this model in the Vietnamese market.
