In case citizen information is already in the national population database and there is no change or adjustment, the citizen’s information in the national population database is used to compile a dossier for grant, change or re-issue of CCCD card.
In case the citizen’s information is already in the national population database but there is a change or adjustment, the citizen is requested to present legal papers proving the changed content to update and supplement the information in the application. , change, re-issue CCCD card.
In case citizen information is not available in the national population database, citizens are requested to present one of the legal papers proving the content of personal information to update information in the application for grant, change or re-issue. CCCD card.
According to the above regulations, during the implementation of CCCD, if people do not have information in the national database on population, they must present legal documents to prove it (household registration book, etc.). However, Clause 3, Article 38 of the Law on Residence 2020 clearly states that when the residence registration agency revokes the household registration book, it must adjust and update the information in the residency database.
Therefore, for cases where people have had their passwords revoked, the resident information data is already in the National Database, so CCCD cards can still be made from this data.
