Accordingly, in the past 3 weeks, the number of infections, severe cases and deaths in provinces and cities tended to decrease day by day, from 150,000 new cases per day to less than 50,000 cases per day. increased more in the unvaccinated group- (March recorded over 1.2 million cases, an increase of about 950,000 cases compared to February).

The number of severe cases from more than 3,600 cases to more than 1,500 cases are being treated at hospitals; the number of deaths from more than 50 cases per day to more than 30 cases per day.

As of April 6, Vietnam has received more than 230 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine. With this number of vaccines, Vietnam can vaccinate people aged 12 and over with 1st and 2nd doses and expand the target audience to inject children and inject additional doses and 3rd doses for those aged 18 and over. go up.

More than 207 million doses have been injected nationwide. The number of injections for people aged 18 years and over is more than 190 million doses, the coverage rates for 1st and 2nd doses for this age group are 100%, 99.8%, respectively. The number of injections for children aged 12-17 years is more than 17 million doses; coverage rates for nose 1 and 2 for this age group were 99.8% and 95.1%, respectively.
