Sharing about her love story with Germany, Hanna said that 4 years ago, Hanna went to Asia to explore, including Vietnam, by chance she knew the Canadian film crew here. Thanks to that, she met Thanh Duc.
“I first met Duc on Cat Ba island (Hai Phong) when we both worked for a Canadian film crew. However, at that time, Duc and I just talked normally and made friends on Facebook. After that, I returned to the US to celebrate Christmas with my family, so I didn’t contact much. And in March 2020, when the COVID-19 epidemic started, I returned to Vietnam, went to Ho Chi Minh City to work and explore. Here, Duc and I had the chance to meet each other for the second time and officially start our love story.”Hanna shared.
Recalling the first day she came to Vietnam, Hanna said, she had many difficulties in language. Because I have not studied Vietnamese before coming to Vietnam, learning the language is a huge challenge. Fortunately, after 2 years of studying, her Vietnamese can communicate well and fluently on her second return to Vietnam in 2020 and has a chance to meet Germany in the South for the second time. From that moment, she and Germany travel together and not a single day apart.
Hanna is attracted to the two things in common, so she agrees to be the German girlfriend.
Sharing about the reason she fell in love with the 8X guy Nghe An, Hanna confided that she and Duc have one big thing in common, that is, they love to travel with new experiences. Not only that, Duc is very creative and free, he also has a slightly different lifestyle than normal people like her. Besides, Duc is very approachable and has a nice voice, attractive way of talking, so she did not hesitate to agree to be his girlfriend after that.

Loved each other for nearly 2 years now when they have one child, but both Hanna and Duc love freedom, so both have no intention of getting married. Talking about this, Hanna confided, perhaps many people would think badly about this issue, but neither she nor Duc cared much. For Hanna and Duc, it is enough just to have the German family support every decision they make.
Talking about the most time between the two, Hanna confided, it was the time when she was 5 months pregnant and returned home to visit her family while Duc was in Vietnam. The two agreed to meet in the third country, South America, after 2-3 weeks, but it took Hanna and Germany half a year to reunite.

For Hanna, it was the hardest and most difficult time because she was pregnant alone and had to manage without her boyfriend by her side. Not only that, the day she gave birth, her boyfriend could not come over to go through labor and accompany her in that moment. It was not until about 2 weeks after giving birth that she and Duc were reunited.
Although she is a strong and independent person, when she is pregnant, her mood changes, so Hanna can’t avoid moments of weakness. There are nights when she feels sad because Duc is not around, the two can only look at each other through the phone screen. Understanding that, knowing the difficulties his girlfriend has to go through, Duc always tries to video call Hanna every night, promising that he is doing everything he can to meet Hanna and her children. Besides, he sent money to support her to buy food and rent a house so that she could be psychologically comfortable and not have to worry about work anymore. Thanks to Germany’s concern and kindness, Hanna was able to get through that time.
“After returning to the US for 1.5 months to meet her parents and close friends, Hanna bought a plane ticket to Ecuador because she did not want to fly when she was 6 months pregnant. Hanna thought he could make it, but he was forced to return to Vietnam from Panama and was at the Turkish airport for a few days. When he returned to Vietnam, he was quarantined, and lost a lot of money. We hired a lawyer in Ecuador and still couldn’t do anything. Germany must apply for a visa to enter Peru and from there go to the Ecuadorian embassy to reunite with her mother and child. On January 1, he came here, about 2 weeks after I gave birth to my baby. Hanna recounted.

Although being a mother for the first time has many surprises, taking care of a child is tiring, but every time she sees her child, Hanna feels happy.
