The investigation determined that the person who caused the fire was Tran Thi Thanh Hai (29 years old, in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province) who was the suspect in causing the fire, stemming from a love relationship.
Although she has a husband and children, at the end of 2019, Tran Thi Thanh Hai had a romantic relationship with Mr. CVH (28 years old, in Lam Binh district, Tuyen Quang province).
By the end of January 2022, Hai discovered that Mr. H.’s family prevented and did not agree to let the two get married, so there were often conflicts between Hai and H. After that, Hai repeatedly went to her boyfriend’s motel to smash and burn H’s computer twice.
Because he did not want to continue this relationship, H. moved to the inn of his cousin, Hoang CV (32 years old, from the same hometown of Tuyen Quang), rented a house at lane 60, Group 4, Phu Do ward.
After that, Hai knew the information and bought gasoline to burn V.’s car because he thought that this person was also one of the members who prevented the relationship between Hai and H.
After only a few hours of committing the crime, Tran Thi Thanh Hai was arrested. On April 3, the police agency of Nam Tu Liem District Public Security issued a decision to prosecute the cases of “Murder” and “Destruction of property”.
On April 8, the Investigation Police Agency continued to issue a decision to prosecute the accused Tran Thi Thanh Hai to investigate the acts of “Murder” and “Destruction of property”, and at the same time executed a 4-month detention order for the suspect. with this accused to serve the investigation.
