They are easily affected by pressures, negative thoughts and lifestyles leading to pessimism, depression, even suicidal thoughts. Sharing at a seminar on students’ mental health issues, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Anh, Principal of Nguyen Tat Thanh Middle School and High School (Hanoi) said that during the epidemic season, students were “locked up” at home. They have been studying online for a very long time, their interactions with people around them have decreased, their daily routine has also been turned upside down.

To reduce pressure on students during the epidemic season, the school also changed the assessment method, reducing the knowledge load when learning online.

The school requires the classroom teacher to propose a plan to support students.
