The US made the final decision on anti-dumping with Vietnamese honey

Thus, compared with the preliminary conclusion in November 2021, the dumping margin for Vietnam’s honey has decreased significantly from more than 400 percent to 58 to 62 percent, or more than 85 percent.

This reduction is due to the fact that the US side has changed the calculation method when removing information on import prices of raw materials in India, using the information provided by Vietnam when calculating the cost of input materials, as well as changing the cost of input materials. Changes in use of energy costs, financial costs and normal value of Vietnamese honey products.

It is expected that on May 23, the US International Trade Commission will conclude on whether honey products imported into the US have caused significant damage to the US domestic honey industry. If the finding is that there is material injury, the US Department of Commerce will impose tariffs at a rate equivalent to the range concluded yesterday.
