Users will then only have to pay the amount of 1 yen / month if they want to use the iPhone 12. After 2 years, if the user returns the device to the carrier, they will not have to pay the remaining 47,500 yen more. .
According to Japan’s new regulations, this country’s carriers are no longer allowed to sell network locked devices (or iPhone Lock). So, although it is a carrier program, all iPhone 12 in this shipment are international versions and are perfectly compatible with carriers in Vietnam.
So, are Vietnamese merchants “eating well” when buying a machine for 1 yen and then selling it up to 13 million dong? Not so. Because, do not forget that they will still have to spend the amount of 47,500 yen, because they cannot return the device to the carrier after a period of 24 months. Not to mention, because it is a carrier program, so they will also incur certain fees for maintaining the subscription. Finally, it is impossible to ignore the shipping fee from Japan to Vietnam.
In fact, this is not the first time Japanese carriers have held promotions like this. Previously, iPhone 12 mini and iPhone SE also had similar promotions. However, perhaps the iPhone 12 this time is still the most attractive, so it has drawn the attention of the Vietnamese community who want to make a profit.
