A few dozen meters away, Hoang Minh Phuong (34 years old) and a group of friends are packing to return to Binh Duong after a three-day trip. She brought an ice box to buy seafood for her family. “The seafood stalls on Hoang Hoa Tham street asked to buy crabs for more than 800,000 VND per kilogram, too expensive, so I didn’t buy them,” Phuong said, adding that she bought 2 kilograms of squid, one kilogram of snails, and two kilograms of octopus. She said the price is higher than the previous holiday from 40,000 to nearly 100,000 VND.
