The competition week of January 2, quarter III, Road to Olympia in the 22nd year took place this afternoon (April 10), witnessing the competition of four contestants: Nguyen Phuc Vy Hao (Huynh Man Dat High School for Gifted Students, Kien Giang), Ngo. Viet Hoang (Dinh Hoa High School, Thai Nguyen), Duong Le Thanh Phat (Ly Thuong Kiet High School, Binh Thuan) and Luong Nguyen Minh Thong (Long An High School for the Gifted, Long An).

Entering the warm-up contest, Thanh Phat created a leading advantage with 95 points. Next came Vy Hao 55 points, Minh Thong 45 points and Viet Hoang 20 points.

In the obstacle course, the keyword to find this week consists of 14 letters. The first horizontal row is selected with the question: “Which province is the meeting place of three rivers: Red River, Da River and Lo River; is the western gateway of Hanoi capital?” Three contestants Vy Hao, Thanh Phat and Minh Thong won points with the correct answer being Phu Tho.

The second horizontal row is selected with the question: “To wrap 12 gift boxes, Ms. Lan used up 10m of wrapping paper. Ask Ms. Lan how many meters of wrapping paper do you need to prepare to fit 4 gift boxes? Know the gift boxes are the same size.”

As soon as the MC finished reading the question, in turn, Vy Hao and Minh Thong pressed the bell to answer the keyword and shared the answer “Hung King’s death anniversary”. By pressing the bell first and giving the correct response, Vy Hao won another 60 points.

After two parts, the order of the contestants in turn: Vy Hao 125 points; Thanh Phat 105 points; Smart 55 points; Viet Hoang 20 points.

In the Acceleration section, Thanh Phat excellently answered the questions correctly, temporarily rising to the top of the race with 235 points. Next, Vy Hao 195 points, Minh Thong 155 points, Viet Hoang 60 points.

In the final exam, Thanh Phat owned 235 points – being the first candidate to take the test, choosing three questions worth 20 points. The first two questions, Viet Hoang, Vy Hao won the opportunity to answer and score points. Thanh Phat scored the last sentence and returned to his place with 215 points.

As the second contestant to participate with 215 points, Vy Hao chose three sentences of 20 points. He won all three points to return to the position with 275 points, temporarily rising to the top.

Minh Thong owns 155 points. He chose three questions worth 20 – 20 – 30 points and the Star Hopes the second sentence. In this round, Viet Hoang scored in the second sentence, Minh Thong only won the first and last sentences, to third place with 185 points.

Viet Hoang is the last contestant to choose a question worth 20 – 30 – 20 points and Star hopes for the last sentence. He scored the first two sentences. Thanh Phat scored the last sentence. Viet Hoang returned with 130 points.

In the end, contestant Nguyen Phuc Vy Hao (Huynh Man Dat High School for the Gifted, Kien Giang) won a laurel wreath with 275 points. Duong Le Thanh Phat (Ly Thuong Kiet High School, Binh Thuan) finished second with 235 points. Along with third place, Luong Nguyen Minh Thong (Long An High School for the Gifted, Long An) 185 points and Ngo Viet Hoang (Dinh Hoa High School, Thai Nguyen) 130 points.
