Warren Buffett Is Called Bitcoin’s Number One Enemy
Billionaire Warren Buffett is considered an enemy of Bitcoin by investor Peter Thiel due to his moves to block the cryptocurrency.
At the Bitcoin 2022 conference held in Miami this week, Peter Thiel mentioned his “enemies list”. Bitcoinincluding: Warren Buffett – Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, Jamie Dimon – CEO of JP Morgan and Larry Fink – CEO of BlackRock. Among them, Buffett is likened to “enemy number one”.
During the speech, Thiel held a photo of Buffett with the words “rat poison”. This is also the phrase that Buffet used to describe Bitcoin at an event in 2018.
The famous investor also criticized the Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway once claiming to “do not own cryptocurrency and never do so”, but this company recently invested a billion USD in Nubank – a bank in Vietnam. Brazil is popular with crypto investors.
In addition, Thiel also believes that “central banks will go bankrupt” and that, when it does, Bitcoin is an alternative to the traditional financial system.

Thiel’s speech is considered the billionaire’s boldest move aimed at those who he believes are hindering the development of Bitcoin. “This is what we have to fight for in order for Bitcoin to grow 10x or 100x later on,” he added.
A representative for Berkshire Hathaway has not yet commented on the above.
Peter Thiel, former co-founder of PayPal, is now a billionaire and venture capitalist. He has a strong belief in Bitcoin, but does not believe in any other cryptocurrency, including Ethereum. Thiel is said to be holding hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin through his Founders Fund.
