72-year-old maid ‘director’ robbed 2 billion in a villa in Ho Chi Minh City

The robbery incident

According to initial information, at about 18:15 on April 9, at a villa on Tran Binh Trong Street (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City) there was a robbery with 1 property taken away. ,8 billion VND, 10,000 USD with many phones.

The entire robbery was captured by a home security camera. It can be seen that at that time, a man with a package came to ring the doorbell of the family. When a woman in the house opened the door, this person immediately used a weapon to threaten the woman to go inside.

These two people, after entering, used a weapon to control the servants in the house. At the same time, they also followed the landlord’s son to show where the money was hidden and the safe’s password. Out of fear, the landlord’s son had to follow suit. These two guys were quite quick to rummage and take all the cash in the house and room and then leave.

Immediately after receiving information about the incident, the Ho Chi Minh City Police directed the PC02 Division, the Criminal Technical Division, the District 5 Police Department to quickly investigate and arrest the people involved.

Newspaper Dan Tri said, among the suspects, Ms. Du and Hong were the maids at the villa. Knowing the owner has a lot of money and the house has a camera, on April 6, Ms. Du and Hong discussed with Thao (Mrs. Du’s grandson) to create a fake scene of a delivery worker to rob property.

After that, Thao told Khanh and Thai (Thao’s uncle) about the plan to discuss. After reunification, Thai played the role of a delivery man to ring the bell, and Mrs. Hong was responsible for opening the door for Thai to enter.

Le Hoang Khanh has the duty to go after Thai to help control the landlord’s children with Mrs. Du and Mrs. Hong, while Thao stands outside the gate, alert. The whole group agreed to do it on the evening of April 9, when the host went out to eat.

On the morning of April 9, Trung rode a motorbike with Mrs. Dung to Khanh’s inn on Street 1 (An Lac ward, Binh Tan district) to “reunite”. At this time, Trung was assigned to help Thao stand outside the door to guard, while Mrs. Dung stayed at the inn. Around 6:20 p.m. on April 9, the robbery took place as planned.

The police are suspicious because the robbery happened too fast

According to Youth According to a quick investigation, the police found that the robbery took place within 20 minutes, no one in the house resisted, there was no shouting or notification to outsiders.

By professional measures, Ho Chi Minh City Police have identified two robbers who broke into the villa to carry out the robbery: Nguyen Quoc Thai, Le Hong Khanh.

Only a few hours after the robbery happened, the Ho Chi Minh City Police detectives arrested Thai, Khanh and accomplices at the motel room on No. 1 Street (An Lac Ward, Binh Tan District). The police determined that this was an organized, premeditated case between the bandits and two maids.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police have recovered all the stolen property, the police continue to expand the investigation of the case and arrest the people involved.
