Sun was taken to the hospital at Changchun International Exhibition Center on March 18, after testing positive for Covid-19.
“At first, I felt a little nervous about the upcoming exam because of the noisy environment and poor lighting. I tried to adjust my mind and asked the medical staff to help me,” Sun said.
Sun then received help and was moved to a hospital bed in the corner of the room, which was quieter.
“Several doctors at Hospital II, Jilin University, who are also academic advisors for the PhD students, gave me a lot of helpful advice and guidance,” Sun said.
Medical staff cleared a treatment room for Sun to use as an exam room. Technical staff also set up special networking to ensure Sun has a smooth online experience.
