VCCA is the largest national scientific forum dedicated to the field of control and automation, taking place every 2 years from 2011 to present.

Minister Huynh Thanh Dat said that in the science and technology development strategy for the period 2021-2030, which is being built by the Ministry of Science and Technology, automation technology is identified as one of the priority technology directions. .

Mechanisms and policies to promote the development of control and automation fields are also continuously reviewed, revised and supplemented.

Recently, the Prime Minister signed a decision to issue a list of 99 high technologies prioritized for investment and development, including 20 technologies in the field of automation.

Minister Huynh Thanh Dat “orders” the Vietnam Automation Association in the coming time, it is necessary to focus on developing smart production in the direction of connecting the design, operation and maintenance stages, integrating management technology in the business. Karma.

At the same time, it is possible to apply a set of 3 “automation – energy saving – software” solutions on a digital platform, combining big data processing with artificial intelligence.

In particular, it is necessary to mobilize leading scientists and experts to focus on solving breakthrough problems associated with digital transformation to help improve and raise the level of automation for industrial products of the company. Vietnam.

Mr. Dat also emphasized the strengthening of connection and technology transfer from advanced technology suppliers in the world, in order to promote technology application for Vietnamese industry, especially in the field of automation.
