Three students drowned

On the morning of April 11, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bay, Head of Education and Training Department of Krong Nang District, Management Board of Ama Trang Long Secondary School and Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School visited and supported the children’s families.

Yesterday afternoon, two sisters aged 15 and 10, along with a 12-year-old boy, invited each other to catch snails at a neighbor’s pond in Ea Le village (DlieYa commune, Krong Nang district), about 500 meters from their house.

Later, people discovered three pairs of small sandals on the shore but did not see anyone. People dived to find and retrieved the bodies of three victims ashore at 5pm. At the time of the accident, no one witnessed, but traces at the scene, authorities determined that while catching snails, one child slipped, two children drowned.
