Going to the beach on a holiday, 2 students drowned tragically

On the morning of April 12, Mr. Truong Ngoc Hoang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of My Tho commune, said that functional forces were still coordinating with fishermen to search for the body of a boy swimming in the sea washed away by the waves.

Initial information, around 5 pm on 11-4, 4 students studying in grade 12 at a high school in My Chanh commune, Phu My district went to Bang beach to swim. Here, while swimming, 2 of these 4 students were swept away by the waves and drowned.

The victim was identified as NTD. (living in An Hoa village, My Chanh commune) and NVA (living in An Luong village, My Chanh commune). After discovering the incident, people found the body of Tr. and handed over to the family to take home to take care of the aftermath. A.’s body has not been found yet.

According to local people, this season, although the waves in Bai Bang area are not large, there are often rolling currents, which can easily lead to accidents when swimming.
