According to initial information, around 11 am of the same day, after one night, Nguyen Thanh Hoa (41 years old, from Dong Thap) did not return to the village, so the co-workers organized to find him.

When passing the quarry area (My Phuoc Tan Van street, Tan Dong Hiep ward), they discovered a pair of pants similar to those of Mr. Hoa, so people looked down to check and found his body lying on the ground. face down on a cliff about 100m high.

The work of bringing the victim’s body up was difficult

Receiving information, the police quickly arrived to blockade the scene and take statements from the people involved. The rescue force of the Di An City Police Fire Prevention and Fighting Police was also present to deploy plans and fly drones to find a way to bring the victim’s body ashore.

Due to the fact that the site area is a quarry with a depth of more than 100m, jagged mountains and deep water, the rescue work faced many difficulties.

Authorities put the victim’s body on top

It is known that the victim worked on construction work and slept in a camp only about 100 meters away from the scene. Yesterday afternoon, he walked past an acquaintance’s inn to have dinner, and left at about 5pm. But this morning, the co-workers did not see Mr. Hoa, so they reported to the police, then organized a search and discovered the case.

At more than 19 o’clock, although it was dark, the officers and soldiers with the support of the people were able to bring the victim’s body ashore and transfer it to the morgue for autopsy.
