The lawsuit also details multiple consumer complaints related to camera glass that spontaneously breaks:

The lawsuit was filed on April 27, 2021 in the District Court for the District of New Jersey, USA. It is demanding that Samsung pay for repairs and other damages it faces due to design defects and breach of warranty laws, and the lawsuit seeks compensation for affected customers related to the product. In light of this news, a Samsung Care representative even acknowledged the issue in a forum post, claiming that the issue was related to “a build-up of pressure underneath the glass. not the customer banging it on something.” Even so, Samsung has not issued a recall or initiated a repair program at all and continues to charge customers $100 to $400 out-of-pocket for repairs.
