Savings at banks with high interest rates above 8.00%/year need to pay attention to this

Many banks are applying a rather high interest rate on savings, the highest is 8.30%/year. However, in order to enjoy high interest rates, most banks apply for long-term deposits, from 12 months or more. In addition, some banks also stipulate specific deposit levels for customers.

Currently, the highest savings deposit interest rate is at 8.30%/year, this level is applied by ABBank to customers who deposit 8.3%/year for 13-month term.

Next is Vietbank with an interest rate of 8.00%/year with the condition that a 13-month term deposit will receive interest at the end of the period.

Banks with a mobilizing interest rate of 7.00%/year or more such as: HDBank is 7.15%/year for a term of 13 months and with the condition that customers have to deposit 300 billion VND or more; ACB is 7.10%/year for 13-month term with the condition that the deposit is from VND 100 billion or more; SCB bank is 7.00%/year at 13-month term.

In addition, some other banks also offer conditions on the deposit amount, such as depositing to LienVietPostBank for a term of 13 months with 3 interest rates of 6.99%/year (the deposit interest rate will be applied to receive interest at the end of the period); monthly interest is 6.76%/year and prepaid interest is 6.49%/year, provided that the deposit has a balance of 300 billion VND or more.
