This is an event in the series of activities to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18) of the Ministry of Science and Technology since 2015 until now.
This event is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic situation, the event will be held in an online form, including two main activities: the workshop “Creating the future with STEM” to assess the current situation and propose development solutions. STEM education in Vietnam.
The workshop took place throughout the day of May 18, welcoming all voices from educational institutions, schools, clubs and businesses in STEM education (link to register to present the report: https://forms. gle/RFjN6XnopWSwaiLE7). In addition, there is also an online exhibition “STEM sparks creativity”, where STEM schools, clubs and businesses display images and videos of their STEM activities.
According to the Organizing Committee, so far, about 15 units have registered to present their reports at the online conference, including many high schools and the Department of Education and Training in localities such as Bac Giang, Thai Binh, and Laos. Cai, Ha Nam, Hai Duong, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, and some private schools such as True North School, FPT.
It is expected that there will be reports on the topic: Implementing STEM lessons from an educational research perspective; Initiative to help students form creative ideas for STEM projects; Building STEM lessons in the direction of digital transformation in teaching science subjects; STEAM Lab model for preschool; Design thinking and the process of building bridges between students and STEAM education; Developing reading culture and organizing STEM Club in Primary School; Bringing STEM into the social sciences…
Recently, the organizers have received online registration registrations from nearly 100 organizations across the country from universities to kindergartens, schools to businesses, from Ha Giang to Cape Ca Mau, from land immediately to the island.
