That year, Amy Weiss was a social worker and daughter of the famous psychotherapist, Brian Weiss, this newspaper said. He is known for his “past life regression therapy” – that is, through hypnosis the vision of past lives. He is also the author of the book “Miracles Happen”.

She recalls: “I decided to give it a try. I wanted to see if I could find the source of my cataracts. Regression therapy has never worked for me personally in the past, so I just thought maybe I’d take a nap.”
Amy said she closed her eyes and listened to Dr Weiss instructions go back in time to when the symptoms first started. Instead of picturing herself as a young woman, Amy experienced something very different. Amy says: “Immediately, I saw myself in the body of an old man with long white hair, living in the Middle Ages.”
Sleep takes Amy to a medieval hut.
She explained that this old man lived a solitary life inside a hut. “I’m basically a hermit,” Amy talks about her past life. “But the townspeople think I’m a sorcerer and that I’m doing evil.”
“The townspeople burst into the hut.” Amy says: “They brought torches and burned everything. The fire stole my eyes… I could feel his pain.”
Amy and her father is Dr. Weiss.
Dr. Weiss then said to go to the end of that life and hear what the message of that life is. Amy recalls: “The message I heard was ‘Sorrow blurs the eyes’. To me that has a double meaning, not just that I’ve had cataracts and been literally blind since my lifetime. before, but … I am also carrying the sadness of that man in the present life”.
Then, another strange thing happened, much to Amy’s surprise, the doctors told her that her cataracts had “disappeared”.
She speaks: “There could be some biological cause for my cataract to be cured. But whatever it is, it doesn’t really matter to me. The important thing is that I got my eyes back.”
