Talking about his startup idea, Tai Minh said: “The idea of developing “Signtegrate” came from a neighbor of mine who was deaf since childhood, he played very well with him and often taught him.

Through the process of interacting and studying together, I have observed that I face many difficulties in communication and that has affected her confidence as well as her ability to integrate into the community. .

Therefore, when I had enough ability and received the support and help of teachers and family, I decided to develop the application “Signtegrate” to be able to partly help the deaf community. in Vietnam and people like you, my neighbors, will be best integrated.”

In the process of researching and developing a startup idea called “Signtegrate”, Tai Minh and Ninh Giang faced many difficulties.

“For me, the most difficult thing is the data collection part, especially during the epidemic, it is very difficult to find and invite experts to provide data for the application.

After that, me and Ninh Giang were lucky to find someone to help solve this problem. However, it’s still not enough if just one person manipulates because we need more people to replicate the data sample.

Finally, both me and Giang taught themselves sign language and returned to operations to serve the training of the model for “Signtegrate”. We have overcome these barriers thanks to the support from family, friends and teachers.”Tai Minh confided.

In addition, during the process of pursuing the idea of starting a business, the volume of work was large and intense, especially around the time the competition was about to take place, which made both Tai Minh and Ninh Giang very worried, but both tried their best. outstanding overcoming power.

Tai Minh recalled: “The day of the presentation for the competition, I did not dare to eat breakfast to spend time reviewing the presentation thoroughly. When presenting in front of many people, I was also very nervous and thought that I would not be able to complete well, but in the end, all of them achieved unexpected results so I am very happy.”

As for Ninh Giang, one of the obstacles he encountered was the application programming part. Sometimes programming can make inevitable mistakes and fix them is quite difficult.

In addition, I myself feel quite pressured because I am worried that our application will not be as good as other products we work on technology and “Signtegrate” is not enough to convince the judges.

Another obstacle is that I myself am not too knowledgeable about the economic field, but only have knowledge of technology. To be able to answer the questions of the judges during the presentation of the startup idea, I had to spend a long time practicing to gain confidence and be able to convince the board. examiner.

And after all, the experience I have learned is that when facing pressure, don’t be afraid and step out of your comfort zone, try your best for the goal, you will definitely get worthy results.“, Ninh Giang shared.

Talking about plans for the future, Tai Minh said that he will soon plan to start a business, complete products and find investors to be able to launch “Signtegrate”.

Besides, the two young people also successfully connected with doctors and potential investors to be the judges at the contest.

“I really hope that future plans will go well so that “Signtegrate” can soon help the deaf community in Vietnam easily integrate into society.”Tai Minh said.

Signtegrate is the first application to translate Hanoi Sign Language into Vietnamese Reading-Writing language in Vietnam.
