US Space Command confirms first “attacker” from other star system-Information Technology

Recently declassified data from the US Space Command (USSC) first mentions the astonishing details of a fireball that burned in the sky of Papua New Guinea in 2014.

According to the US Space Command, it is a small meteorite, only about 0.45 meters across, that crashed into the Earth’s atmosphere on January 8, 2014 after traveling through space at more than a speed. 210,000 km/h, a speed that far exceeds that of other meteorites.

Because, it is not like other meteorites but an “interstellar” object, an attacker from another “solar system”!

According to Live Science, a small 2019 study, published online on arXiv, came up with this hypothesis when analyzing the velocity and trajectory of the meteorite. They suggest it could be “from the depths of a star system or a star in the thick disk of the Milky Way (the galaxy containing the Earth)”.

However, the study has never been peer-reviewed and officially published in a scientific journal because the US government believes other data is needed to verify it.

But now, scientists from the US Space Command have officially confirmed the discovery. Writing on Twitter recently, Lieutenant General John.E.Shaw, Deputy Commander of the USSC, said the 2019 analysis of the fireball was “accurate enough to confirm the interstellar orbit”.

Thus, this strange object is the first “interstellar attacker” to successfully penetrate the solar system, 3 years before Oumuamua – a cigar-shaped asteroid.

Astrophysicist Amir Siraj from Harvard University, lead author of the 2019 study, said he still intends to publish the original study for colleagues to continue the work.

Since the meteorite was consumed by our atmosphere over the South Pacific, it is very likely that debris from it has landed and is still lurking on the seabed.
