Vivo launches the world’s first super product with two 120 Hz screens-Hi-tech fashion

Vivo has just launched the latest member in the smartphone segment with a flexible screen called Vivo X Fold.

It shares the design style of the Galaxy Z Fold3, Huawei Mate X2 and Oppo Find N, but a key standout feature is the offering of 120 Hz refresh rates on both screens.

External display of Vivo The X Fold has a diagonal of 6.53 inches and FHD + resolution, while the flexible screen inside has a diagonal of 8.03 inches and a resolution of 2160 x 1916 pixels. Both screens use OLED panels and support HDR10+.

Another notable feature of Vivo X Fold is the presence of two fingerprint scanners at the same time, with one placed under the outer screen and the other on the inner screen. Moreover, the system is configured to unlock the smartphone with one sensor, the user can immediately switch to the second screen without re-authorization.

The manufacturer says Vivo X Fold can easily withstand 300,000 cycles of folding and unfolding. A smartphone can be folded and unfolded 80 times a day, equivalent to 10 years of use, meaning phones can become obsolete faster than they fail.

The screen inside can be set up like a laptop screen, with an opening angle of 60 degrees or 120 degrees. Vivo emphasizes that there are no wrinkles on the screen when unfolded, and with what the Oppo Find N has done, this is completely justified.

Vivo X Fold comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 4,600 mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The Zeiss-branded main camera is the highlight of the Vivo X Fold and is possibly the best module in its class. The main sensor is Samsung GN5 50 MP, combining 48 MP super wide-angle camera, 12 MP depth camera with Sony IMX663 sensor and 8 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS. For selfie needs, the phone comes with two 16MP cameras embedded in the outer and inner displays.

Vivo X Fold runs Android 12 with the proprietary OriginOS interface. The phone has two color options Black and Blue, and two configurations 12/256 GB for $ 1,415 (VND 32.35 million) and 12/512 GB for $ 1,570 (VND 35.9 million). Products sold in China from April 15, but the schedule for other markets is unknown.
