Things to keep in mind to avoid being scammed

To recognize and avoid bank fraud via SMS, users should equip themselves with basic knowledge. Reference from Vietcombank as follows:

– Fake messages often contain unusual links (eg: www.vcbdiogebink.com, www.vcbdingtanbink.com, www.vcbdigirabink.com…). If you receive a message with this sign, absolutely do not click on the link and immediately notify the bank (hotline, transaction point during office hours) and the nearest police agency.

– The bank does not send SMS messages with the link to log in to the service online banking.

– Mostly, each bank has only one (for example, Vietcombank has only the address https://vietcombank.com.vn/. Please pay attention to the link when making online transactions.

– If you have accidentally clicked on a phishing link and disclosed information, proceed to contact the bank’s support switchboard or compose a message according to the previously specified emergency lock syntax for further instructions.
