Ha Nam province’s sports stadium consists of 5 floors, with a total floor area of ​​50,000 m .², a capacity of 7,500 seats with a system of technical equipment meeting international competition standards. Rated as one of the largest and most modern gymnasiums in Southeast Asia, capable of organizing many major tournaments, Ha Nam Gymnasium once hosted the Asian Women’s Volleyball Club Championship 2015, volleyball tournament VTV 2016 Cup, Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship 2017.

To serve the 31st SEA Games, Ha Nam established a local organizing committee (BTC) led by Mr. Nguyen Anh Chuc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, as the head of the committee and the subcommittees to assist in implementing the task. One of the important tasks that has been implemented quickly and effectively by the province is to decorate the Ha Nam Gymnasium. In particular, the system of electric booths, air conditioners, sound systems, fire fighting systems have been upgraded. All electrical and water equipment in VIP rooms, function rooms, and toilets are replaced; The official carpeting on the pitch has been completed.

The auxiliary training ground at the multi-purpose practice house The Provincial Sports and Training Center has been upgraded, fully installed with necessary equipment, ready to prepare for the training work of the teams. Meanwhile, the training ground at the multi-purpose gymnasium of the College of Broadcasting and Television I is rushing to complete the painting, repair and installation of electrical equipment and technical expertise as required.

Mr. Mai Thanh Chung, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Nam province, said: “Hosting a competition at SEA Games 31 is something to be proud of because it’s been a long time since the province had the opportunity to host a major tournament. The preparation of facilities and logistics has been completed. Through the records, the local BTC found that the people of Ha Nam province were very eager and excited to welcome the teams to compete. I firmly believe that Ha Nam will successfully organize futsal.” The People’s Committee of this province has assigned specific tasks to the BTC member units to train volunteers and promote the image of the land and people of Ha Nam.

According to the plan, the men’s and women’s futsal at the 31st SEA Games will have 10 participating teams, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar. The women’s futsal event will take place from May 10-19 and men’s futsal from May 11-20. For the first time, Ha Nam fans will see first-hand the talented goalkeeper Ho Van Y and his teammates compete at the congress.

Vinh Phuc is ready

Like Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc is ready for the 31st SEA Games to kick off. With the sport of muay, the venue for the competition is the Vinh Phuc Provincial Sports Stadium (Me Linh Street, Quang Khai Ward, Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc). The project has been invested 40 billion VND to replace the corrugated iron roof, maintain the cooling system, replace the new wooden floor, renovate the fire protection system, the lights, sound system, and electronic boards have also been improved. recreate. Seats in the gymnasium were upgraded and embellished to ensure 3,200 seats. Function rooms for athletes and organizers have been upgraded to international standards. Vinh Phuc was also selected as a golf competition venue at the 31st SEA Games. Nam Dam Vac 18-hole golf course, with a 200-seat stand, a system of practice courts, function rooms, VIP living room, monitoring room international referees, professional meeting rooms, press, rooms for equipment and medical rooms to ensure the regulations of the Organizing Committee.

Regarding logistics, Mr. Bui Hong Do, Director of Vinh Phuc Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “Vinh Phuc province has conducted a survey of places to eat and rest for the 31st SEA Games. Athletes and coaches , guests will stay at the 5-star Dicstar hotel with 260 rooms, 500 meters from the venue and the Crowne Plaza hotel with 170 rooms, 1 km from the competition venue.

According to the plan, at the 31st SEA Games, muay will be played from May 17 to 22, and golf will be played from May 13 to 18.
