Hue Kite Festival 2022 takes place in 8 days, residents and visitors are spoiled for choice in kite making

Hue Kite Festival 2022 is organized to promote and preserve the art of kite making and flying Hue, at the same time attracting tourists, creating a playground and viewing opportunities for those who love the art of the air.

The festival opened at 9 a.m. on April 16 at Tu Tuong Park, Hue City. More than 80 kites with different types of traditional kites such as dragon, phoenix, peacock, butterfly, swallow, crow, hawk, rooster, goldfish,…with a wingspan of 1.5m to 3m in length, especially Special dragon kite 50m long, will be displayed at Tu Tuong Park, convenient for tourists and people walking Le Loi Street, Nguyen Dinh Chieu pedestrian street to enjoy.

Kite making experience activities are held in the morning from 9am to 11am, in the afternoon from 2pm to 4pm daily to serve students, children and tourists who want to return to their childhood.

In addition, the kite flying activity “Vietnamese wings” is held at Phu Van Lau and Ngo Mon Square in the afternoons (from 14:00 to 17:00) with the participation of kite clubs throughout the country. region with tourists and residents.
