The container truck fire occurred around 7:25 a.m. on April 13 on Ho Chi Minh Road, the section through Phuoc Hoa commune, Phuoc Son district, Quang Nam province.

According to initial information, this morning, driver Truong Van Vy (31 years old, residing in Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province) operated a container truck carrying timber in the direction from Kon Tum province to Da Nang city.
When coming to Ho Chi Minh road through Phuoc Hoa commune, driver Vy discovered that the front of the car was on fire, so he pulled over to the side of the road and jumped out.
Immediately upon receiving the news, Phuoc Son District Police coordinated with Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Traffic Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police) to urgently extinguish the fire and at the same time divide the traffic flow.
However, at this time, the fire spread quickly covering the front of the container truck, smoke rising tens of meters.
The car fire made traffic on Ho Chi Minh road difficult.
