When I’m not filming, I drive a tram to take tourists to the countryside

Ha Viet Dung is being loved by the audience in 2 dramas Underground storm and Are you a man?? What difficulties do you have when incarnating into two completely different characters?

– I feel very fortunate to be able to participate in many different types of roles. Each character has its own unique features, if you find the formula to work, it will be easier. Through each type of role, I get to live with many different characters.

In the film Are you a man?What are the similarities and differences between you and the character Minh?

– People often mistakenly think that the character in the movie will be the same as the character of the actor in real life. Movie characters Are you a man? A piece of a puzzle in a person. Sometimes human nature will show such a part. The three characters Tuan Khang, Nhat Minh and Duy Anh combined as one person are perfect, but separated are shortcomings in a person. I myself have shortcomings like the character Minh but I am not that bad. In real life, people say I’m more likeable! (ctext reference).

It is known that Ha Viet Dung is a Muong ethnic and had a difficult childhood, how did you find a way out of difficulties?

– I was born in the Northwest countryside, where it was very difficult, I had to think of a way out of the present life. If I stay up there, life will be much harder right now. Luckily, I joined the Vietnam Supermodel program. Coming to movies is also a charm. The first movie I acted in was Cold summer by Mr. Do Quang Hai with Ly Nha Ky and Midu. To this day, I still remember it. It was the hardest movie for me. At that time, I was like a blank sheet of paper, studying and working at the same time. The fate that came to me was also unpredictable. I went to Saigon to study to be an actor. Thank you everyone for motivating me to try and have Ha Viet Dung as I am today.

Has there been a time when Ha Viet Dung felt that difficulties prevented you from thinking that your decision to make art was wrong and wanted to change?

– Acting profession is that we just need to put in effort and gray matter, not capital, only our living capital. As of now, I have no regrets. I have been through a lot of hardships, there is no reason to give up. I feel very proud that I have a lot of social capital to apply to movies. All the difficulty in the film is how impermeable. The new reality is harsh, I have been through many ups and downs and have to deal with it. At this time, the profession chooses people, so I cherish it and want to live forever with the profession.

In real life, what kind of husband is Ha Viet Dung? What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done for your wife?

– According to everyone’s comments, I love my wife and children, my family. I think family is the key to moving towards higher values. Being filial to your parents, loving your wife and children is an important thing to do. I am different from Nhat Minh, Tuan Khang and the characters that I played before. I have been through many things and know what is the value that I need to survive in the future. The most romantic thing I do for my wife right now is on Valentine’s Day 2020, I buy flowers and chocolates for her.

What advice does Ha Viet Dung have for young people in rural areas who want to go to the city to make a career?

– When going to work or going out in life and society, the most important baggage young people need is honesty. You can be talented, but if you don’t have a core of moral values, you won’t grow in the long run. When you first come to work, if you have an honest quality, someone will help you. I think if you go slow, step by step, you’ll be sure. Of course, reaching success will take longer, but when it comes to success, it will be difficult to shake.

The filmmaker, producer and audience found that Dung is very suitable for an action role like in the movie Underground Storm? Did you learn martial arts before?

– From a young age, children in my hometown often play adventurous games such as climbing, hitting, tickling… Children nowadays are not like that, but they often play games and have a play area. By 2017, I had been in the army for 2 years at the 144th Brigade of the General Staff, so I had to practice a bit. After that, I practiced more boxing. That is also the basis for me to do action scenes without being surprised. Many times when I go to the scene, martial arts go on the line, the blows I can do are always without the need of a stunt.

If you don’t go to the movies, what does Dung’s day look like?

– When I’m not acting, my day is just like a normal person. I don’t have a house in Hanoi so I still live in the countryside. In Hoa Binh, my house has a homestay, and when there are guests, I take an electric car to take guests to visit.

Does that homestay business take up the rest of Dung’s time besides filming?

– On it is crowded mainly on weekends. Usually yes, but not too hard. My family is not a farmer, but we also grow clean vegetables and raise chickens, swans, and eggs.

In the movie Lover, Ha Viet Dung performed a hot scene with Duc Hai and Minh Tu. Can you tell me how to be able to act hot scenes with both men and women so excellent and honest?

– My first movie is Cold summer There was a hot scene, maybe the director realized that I have qualities. Still in the movie Lover, Mr. Duc Hai is a model generation before me, he is very beautiful, he is half French. When I acted out a hot scene with Duc Hai, I thought it was not the man Duc Hai but a girl in the man’s body, the girl was also very beautiful, and the other half (c)text reference). So Ha Viet Dung has ever had a boyfriend confess in real life? How do you answer?

– Yes, there are many people who confess their love, but I also have to say that if there is a next life, I will wait, but this life I am not ready! (laugh)

Currently, Ha Viet Dung has worked as an actor and model. Will you move to another field in the near future?

– Up to now, I feel fortunate to still be able to follow the profession. Some time later when I get old, I will play the role of uncle, such as father (laugh). In the near future, I will participate in a movie project in the city. Ho Chi Minh. A long-running film, shooting time is 2 months, martial arts training takes 1 month. Shooting will begin around June, the film will hit theaters later this year.
