‘Game of Thrones’ actor Joseph Gatt arrested, accused of having explicit sex with a minor

Actor Joseph Gatt, who has previously appeared in episodes of “Game of Thrones,” was arrested this month and charged with having “explicit sexual intercourse” with a minor online, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police said in a New information posted On Tuesday, the juvenile section of the Department’s Internet Task Force on Children served Gatt, 50, with a search warrant at his home in the early morning hours of April 6.

Gatt was arrested by detectives on a felony warrant, the LAPD said.

The statement said police had received information that the British actor, who lives in Los Angeles, was alleged to have engaged in “online pornographic communication with a minor across the states”.

Police are looking to identify any additional victims and ask anyone with further information to contact law enforcement.

Gatt was released on $5,000 bail hours after he was taken into custody, according to his booking report.

After his release, Gatt posted a statement about Twitter fourth account.

“I expressly wish to address the absolutely horrifying and completely untrue allegations recently brought against me,” the statement said. “They are completely wrong and 100% reckless. I confirmed errors and misinformation in today’s press release. I am fully working with the police and LAPD to resolve this matter. I look forward to opening up my name.”

He then thanked friends and supporters and added “for legal reasons, I cannot comment further on social media”.

Gatt’s previous acting credits include three episodes on “Game of Thrones” as Thenn Warg. He also recently appeared in “Dumbo” and “NCIS: New Orleans.” Gatt has a role in the upcoming DC film “Black Adam.”

A representative for Gatt did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
