According to information from the investigating agency, on April 2, 2022, while driving a car carrying goods to Cau Treo International Border Gate, Tran Thanh Thuy (SN 1988, residing in village 2, Quang Diem commune, Huong Son district) had a conflict with Mr. Dinh Viet Duc (SN 1978, living in hamlet 4, Nghi Phu commune, Vinh city, Nghe An) driving a car in the opposite direction.
Being close to home, Thuy called her brother, Tran Song Thuong (SN 1978, living in hamlet 2, Quang Diem commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province).
After receiving the information, Thuong invited Tran Tu Trong (born in 1985, residing in hamlet 2, Quang Diem commune, brother of Thuong and Thuy), Nguyen Dang Hung (born in 1991, residing in hamlet 2, Quang Diem commune) and Dang Ngoc Luan (SN 1988, residing in Khe Dau village, Son Kim commune 1) carrying 3 iron tubes, went on a pickup truck towards Cau Treo international border gate to stop Mr. Duc’s car for the purpose of face beating.
