The project of Hotel – Commercial and Service Center in Cam Xuyen town was approved by the People’s Committee of Ha Tinh province in 2016, built on an area of 9,726m2.
The project is invested by Central Industry and Trade Development Investment Joint Stock Company. Including: restaurant area, hotel, main gate, side gate, general service area and office for rent, massage and karaoke area, ….
This project is located on a land with 4 fronts, located next to National Highway 1A in the center of Cam Xuyen town, but 6 years since its approval, investors still have not “touched” the land, causing The landscape here is extremely squalid, losing the urban beauty.
In particular, many people living around this area take advantage of the government’s laxity, turning the project into a chicken coop, parking lot, garbage dump, etc.
Mr. PNH (TDP 13, Cam Xuyen town) is urgent: “The whole area is large, but it has been abandoned for a long time, so it has become a landfill, a parking place, and a chicken coop for people living around here. There are many afternoons when they burn the stinking garbage, living in the town is no different from the countryside.”
A series of deep holes without warning lines, there are holes about 2-3m deep covered by wild plants causing danger.
Around the land, there are many garbage dumps that look extremely disheveled.
Not far away is the Cam Xuyen district bus station project, which was built with a capital of nearly 30 billion, but until now still “covers mats”, becoming a place to graze cattle for people.
Cam Xuyen bus station was built in 2014, invested by Ha Tinh bus station management board. The project has an area of 5,000m2, located in a prime location, close to National Highway 1A, at TDP 9, Cam Xuyen town.
As noted by PV, currently the land has been abandoned for many years, there are no employees or vehicles inside. The ticketing area and waiting room are seriously degraded, overgrown with grass.
The parking area has become a place to graze buffaloes and cows for households in the area.
Responding to PV VTC News, Mr. Tran Ngoc Quang, Truong Room Economy – Cam Xuyen district infrastructure said that the hotel project – Cam Xuyen district general trade and service center is part of phase 2 of the Fair Hoi project (Cam Xuyen town), it is not clear why investors not continue to build, long abandoned. The province has also met to withdraw this project 2-3 times but for some reason it has not yet been withdrawn.
